It’s Time for March Madness, Lakota Style!
March is just around the corner which means it’s time for March Madness…LAKOTA STYLE!
This year’s basketball tournament will take place on Monday, April 1 through Friday, April 12. Any Lakota student in Grades 2–6 can participate. It’s a great way for students to come together to represent their school and play other Lakota schools.
In 2023, 147 teams participated totaling over 1,300 students. Proceeds from the tournament support local charities in the area; last year donations topped $20,000!

If your son or daughter is interested in participating, please have them watch for dates and times of the player assessments for their grade and school. We encourage all students interested to participate. No prior basketball experience is necessary.
